We need families in Cincinnati to host one or two students from New Taipei City
To be a host family, you must:
- Complete Host Family Online Application Form
- Pass a background check for all members of the household who are 18 years old and older
- Not receive government assistance
Hosting one or two exchange students is an extremely rewarding, eye opening and fun experience. You will establish a tight bond with your exchange son/daughter/sister/brother while learning so much about another culture.
As the host family, you are responsible for the well being of the exchange student. The student must have a comfortable bed and participate in the normal family routines including meals, celebrations and outings. Exchange students will be enrolled in school and must have transportation either arranged or provided to and from school each day.
Above all else, being a host family gives the exchange student the true American experience, which is something that can not be learned through books for films.
